The 200 Club Stands Behind Morris County’s First Responders

When first responders answer a call, their families share in the sacrifices that come with serving the community. Since 1971, The 200 Club of Morris County has helped support those families through financial assistance, scholarships and recognition of extraordinary service.

The nonprofit supports Morris County’s public safety community, including police, firefighters, emergency medical personnel and emergency management responders. According to its 2025 annual report, the organization has distributed more than $5 million in death, dependent and scholarship benefits since its founding.

That support reaches across generations. In 2025, the club awarded $104,500 in scholarships to 21 high school seniors, helping students take their next steps toward higher education. Its scholarship program serves eligible students with ties to public safety service in Morris County.

The club also honors courage and dedication through its annual Valor and Meritorious Awards celebration. In 2025, it recognized 30 individuals for exemplary service, bringing families, colleagues and community supporters together to acknowledge their contributions.

Members, donors, sponsors and volunteers make this work possible. Their involvement turns appreciation for first responders into practical support for families and educational opportunities for young people.
