Stirling Fire Company Pancake Breakfast to Kick Off Fire Prevention Week

Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to noon. The meal will include pancakes with butter and syrup, fresh eggs cooked to order, breakfast sausage, bagels, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. Adult admission is a $15 donation; children younger than 12 and seniors are $10. Payment will be accepted at the door, and seconds are free. Takeout breakfasts will also be available for guests who cannot stay to eat.

The fundraiser supports the Stirling Volunteer Fire Company's firefighting and fire-prevention activities. The department's members are local volunteers who respond to calls throughout the year, and the breakfast offers residents a direct way to support that work while also meeting the people who serve the community.

Children who attend will receive a complimentary fire-prevention coloring book, tying the event to Fire Prevention Week's emphasis on practical safety education. The company will also share information for prospective volunteers. Residents age 16 or older who are in good health may ask about joining; training, firefighting gear and parade uniforms are provided by the company at no cost.

For more information about the breakfast or volunteering, residents may stop by the event or contact the Stirling Volunteer Fire Company at stirlingfirecompany@gmail.com.
